Karyn works at K-mart. Peep the arrow.


Sooo... Kmart. Yeah, we all know about the long lines and its inability to complete with Wal-mart, but in reality, I have found that K-mart is in itself pretty decent. Decent prices, decent lines on a good day , and a bright friendly atmosphere. I realized all of this when I started working there and when a customer came in and tried to return a coat. Yes, a coat. That she purchased in New Jersey. A winter coat. With a broken zipper. Clearly worn. Dirty & A year old... -get this, with NO RECIEPT. I kind of chuckled on the inside when she came in and thought to myself, "She has got to be kidding me". & "There is no way we are gonna take this back". After calling in my manager to handle the situation as I did not know exactly how to, myself, she allowed the customer to return the coat. That showed and proved that K-mart associates value thier customer. We no longer even had the coat in stock! Now I agree that some cashiers may be rude sometimes & the lines may be long but work with us, we're getting better! And if you don't believe me, just come to my K-mart and let me ring you up ! ; )
